[CMW] Referral LOVE

To my dearly beloved past and current clients & who have become FRIENDS,

I've always wanted a way to THANK everyone who loves my work enough to refer me to their friends or family... so today I'm really excited to announce my very own way of giving back!!

Cue... drumroll (or dance music, which ever floats your boat) ...

I'm so excited to be offering 20 free prints from your photography session with me, when a friend or family member you referred books me as their photographer!

I LOVE these little cuties, because there are SO many ways you can use them :)

Right now I've got a stack of them propped up against my flowers & candle on my work desk.

[vow renewal] Ashley & Dominic, Crystal Bay & The Kala, Koh Samui

Last November I had the absolute amazing honour of photographing Ashley & Dominic's 10 year anniversary vow renewal. Ashley is my kinda woman. Quirky, upbeat and so much FUN to be around ;) Apparently she wasn't 100% on the day but I knew nothing of it until she told me afterwards!

They decided to renew their wedding vowels at Crystal Bay where the sand is white & water soft blue. Their wedding ceremony was intimate and for just the two of them. And as soon as Ash and Dom recommitted to each other, we popped open some bubbly to celebrate!

I met Ash and Dom at the Kala, their resort where they were getting ready not too far from where their ceremony took place & we started the party there with some music we all agreed was awesome. ;)

Ashley is a very talented professional hair and makeup artist back in the UK, and I think I might have just been able to convince her and Dom to move here for a bit... I can't wait!

Ashley's dress was from Monsoon, and she had the neckline and back modified to suit her style a bit more and I have to say, I love it!!

It wasn't long before we headed over to Crystal Bay where Natalie had made this beautiful little set up for the ceremony.

This headpiece!  I have to say it's one of the most gorgeous things I've seen. Ashley MADE it herself, better believe it! Ohhh the many talents she's got ;)

Ohhhh.... for the love of sun, pretty palm leaves and flowers. :)

[honeymoon] Nancy and Shawn, Chaweng Beach Sunrise, Koh Samui

Yippee to the first blog of 2014!!! And to start the year off I'm WAAAYY behind, haha. Nancy and Shawn, I'm so sorry! Better late than never is what they say, so I'm happy to finally be showcasing your gorgeous images.. ;)

Nancy and Shawn visited Samui for the last stopover of their adventurous and romantic honeymoon. Nancy decided she wanted some photos to capture some memories from her and Shawn's amazing honeymoon and contacted me spontaneously, fingers crossed.   When I met her, Nancy told me she hadn't planned on having photographs taken and being a lover of photography herself, she just felt that it should happen and contacted me in secret without telling Shawn. ;) (That's the best way to do it, girll.)

They met at school in Xinzheng where Nancy teaches at high school and Shawn the corresponding university. Three years of dating later and they were pronounced husband & wife.

The photographs are taken on Chaweng Beach. We had an amazing time together watching the sunrise and laughing, and I can't have imagined a better way to spend an early morning!  

I love Nancy's dress that she decided to wear! I love the colours of her tie dye dress with her turquoise earrings and Shawn's shirt :D

We walked along the beach and found some longtail boats, and I loved how well the colours go with Nancy & Shawn's outfits!

Awww, you guys are too cuute!! I love this photo :) Sometime a classic black and white just gets to me.

Haww, Shawn is one happy and not to mention LUCKY guy to have Nancy by his side :)

I love how travel savy Nancy and Shawn are, they told me they left their real rings at home and got some engraved during their visit to the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan. Travel safety at its best and it gives you great memories too. :D

When I asked what they usually do together, Nancy said when they were first dating Shawn always used to lift her onto his shoulder and they hadn't done it in a while though... So I asked them to show me ;)

We found heaps of these little crab holes in the sand that morning, I think they look cool!

Awww, I LOVE this photo so much!!! It makes me happy just looking at Nancy's gorgeous & happy smile!

I wanted to end on this note... sealed with a kiss ;) 

Annnd.... I'm sooo happy for these two because 2014 will be an amazing year for them, they're going to be welcoming a little addition into their family!!
